Recharging procedure

This procedure should charge the phone if the battery is not providing enough current. There should be no need to remove the battery to perform this sequence of steps.

  1. Unplug the device from any connected power supply or USB peripheral.

  2. Press and hold the Volume Up button.

  3. Press and hold the Power button for 16 seconds while also holding down the Volume Up button.

  4. After 16 seconds has passed, release the Power button.

  5. Wait 1 second, then release the Volume Up button.

  6. Plug the provided USB-C charger into the phone. The indicator LED should illuminate red, indicating that the battery is charging. It will turn off when the battery is fully charged. Continue to the next step if the red notification LED is illuminated. If the notification LED remains off, repeat the previous steps.

  7. Unplug the charger from the device.

  8. Press and hold the Power button for 15 to 18 seconds or until the green notification LED is illuminated. Release the Power button and the device should boot.
