Running Android apps
====================

Overview
--------

Android applications are not natively launched within PureOS.
Such applications must be run within an isolation layer (aka "emulator").
One fantastic project that offers seamless integration between Android and GNU/Linux is called `WayDroid`_.
WayDroid is not officially supported on Librem devices, but PureOS software does allow it to run smoothly.
